Work is a pain; commuting is a pain, getting ready for office is a pain, closing deals are a pain, keeping employers happy is a pain, getting daily chores done is a pain – everyday challenges are a bowl full of pain – broadly life itself is a pain 😊 But we have born to deal with pains as well as gains. Gains seemingly occupy only a millimetre in the bowl of pain; but that’s how we have to struggle, strive, fight and make our lives happy and good. The mind here plays a major role in deciding, to be or not to be, as in, to be happy or to be sad! If I want to feel happy, I will look happy. But if I am too engrossed to believe that sadness is my best friend, I will always look depressed and low. Who suffers? YOU. Sadness has played its part…it has WON.
It can’t be a life where things will happen as I presume and visualise. Scratches, accidents, and negativities will always be around. Nobody’s life is an exception to that. We all pretend and compare ourselves with others. Pretention of others and consequent comparison are two big tools to make you subdued. IT’S BAD!
How to handle all these?
Reflection of thoughts is of major help here. Have you never overcome really bad phases in life? Breakup phases? Financial crunch phases? Job insecurity phases? Yes, you have, and you have really done a great job. Learn to acknowledge the same to yourself, it boosts your abilities and prepares you for more such tough phases ahead. Life is a roller coaster literally, through the entire journey, you will go on the top with goosebumps and butterflies in your stomach, and the next second you will touch down being grounded. Enjoy this ride. You might be afraid of roller coasters, but the good part is I am sitting right beside you to share your fear, to share your goosebumps and lessen the burden of insecurity 😊 DEAL WITH IT!
